Dr. Wenner was raised in Roswell, NM. He graduated from Colorado State University Veterinary School in 2013. He graduated from New Mexico Tech in 2006 with a BS in Biology. Dr. Wenner enjoys spending time with his family, dogs, and mules.

Sierra Salopek, DVM joined our team as an associate veterinarian in January 2020. Dr. Salopek is from Las Cruces, NM and graduated from Washington State University May 2017. She brings great veterinary experience and enthusiasm to our center! She loves spending time outdoors with her family and dogs.
Jalene couldn't be happier to be in her home town serving the pets of Roswell with this amazing team! She enjoys spending time outdoors with family, friends and her dogs. Jalene has been managing the team since we opened in 2017.
Christine is Colorado native where she acquired an Associate of Applied Science degree from Bel-Rea Institute in Denver Colorado. She is licensed in both Colorado and New Mexico. She has been a Credential Veterinary Technician for 20 + years. She has been part of the team since we opened in 2017.
After retiring from the Roswell School District, and working in the administration business office for 25 years, it has been a great opportunity for me to work part-time supporting the family business. I look forward to many more years working at Cielo Grande Veterinary Center and helping the pets of Roswell.
I enjoy spending my time doing outdoor activities such as gardening, camping, hunting, and skiing. Pets have always been a part of my life and I love being around animals.
It has been a life long dream to work with animal health and she enjoys being able to provide the care needed. Chelsea is a certified veterinary assistant and is currently pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been part of our team since we opened in 2017.
Olga joined our team in 2021 and she brings several years of veterinary experience to our team. Olga has worked at several veterinary clinics in New Mexico and Colorado. She is bilingual in English & Español and enjoys helping our clients in both languages!
Mylene has been part of our tech team since 2023! She especially likes offering her bilingual services for Spanish and English to our clients. Her favorite dog at home is a dachshund and her favorite dog at the office is any Doberman! When she isn’t working she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Iyanna joined us with several years of experience in small animal medicine so we are pleased to welcome her to the team! Her favorite dog breed is dachshunds!
Marcus joined our team in 2023 and works inbetween his shool commitments. He is in the early phase of his veterinary career and currently attending NMSU.
Lexi joins our team with some previous experience in Arizona. She joined our team in 2025. Her favorite dog breed is Siberian huskies.
Izaak joined our team in 2024 with years of small animal experience. He graduated from Texas Tech with a bachelors in Biology in 2020. He has always had a passion to work with animals and is excited about his veterinary career.
